• 5α-AVOCUTA® (Butyl Avocadate): Active developed by Laboratoires Expanscience, France; the butyl ester of avocado fruit that strongly inhibits type 1 5α-reductase activity to reduce excess sebum and prevent acne formation; a clinical trial with twice-daily application over 3 weeks showed up to 78% T-zone oil reduction
• TECA™: Prominent active from Seppic, France, a pure mixture of Centella molecules Asiatic acid, asiaticoside, and madecassic acid that accelerates skin healing, repairs damage, enhances collagen synthesis, soothes inflamed acne, and helps reduce post-acne scarring
