KIMOCHI began with two siblings and a loss that changed the direction of their lives. After losing their brother too young, grief became a need to understand the health struggles his body had been facing. They went deep into the science, searching for answers rather than simply accepting what had happened.

That search led them to nitric oxide, the oral microbiome and, eventually, a different way of thinking about everyday mouthwash.

KIMOCHI was created around HOCl with a belief that oral hygiene shouldn't work against the biology it is meant to look after.

Even the name reflects that philosophy: Kimochi is a Japanese word connected to feeling, capturing the sense of trust and alignment the founders wanted the brand to represent.
